Mindfulness Meditation Workshops
Mindfulness Meditation is based on Buddhist teachings and can lead the practitioner to a life lived free from the shadow of the past and free from fear of the future; the idea is to develop a way of living that is 'in the moment'. Continued practice leads us to a calm, more centred life and a way to feel more connected to the universe.
The workshops aim to teach this simple practice and to provide a basis for spiritual growth. This practice is not at odds with any religious beliefs that you may hold and requires no acceptance of any other philosophy of life.
This simple method of meditation is based on the breath and follows the teachings of Vietnamese Buddhist Monk and Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh
